PIP Review
Hi,
I had my PIP review recently. I’ve not had a decision yet, but I’ve been told what the assessor scored me and that unless there’s any major discrepancies when the DWP case manager looks at it, it will remain unchanged.
My original award was due to end 18/09/2025. I can’t remember when I received my paperwork to fill out, but during this process (I had a few extensions granted), I received a letter dated 19/08/2025 stating my review was not yet complete and had been extended to 18/09/2026. I returned the forms 12/07/2025 and had my assessment on 26/11/2025.
Would this trigger any backpay if my award is increased?

Hi,
Generally they don't give backpay after reviews now. Some claimants still get it through discretion so you'd just have to wait for your letter.
