Mandatory Reconsideration Call
I had put in a mandatory reconciliation because the report was factually totally incorrect. I had the insight to have it recorded and I have transcribed the interview and highlighted the glaring errors between the transcript and the final report. Today I had a call from the DWP and it was a lady saying to me that she will be looking at my case again she first asks if I was happy with the daily living component and do I want it looked at again which I said no because I was happy with the result then after a few questions she asked me if I would be happy receiving a large sum of money into my account. Is this a standard question and why would they be asking this question

Hi @cldcp00, this is quite a standard question to check whether you'd be able to handle a large payment if you were found eligible for some back pay. It doesn't definitely mean that you have been awarded anything like that, but they often ask as part of the process. Hope you get the result you're looking for ☺️
