Pip assessment

I claimed for pip in the summer and I’ve finally heard back from them saying I’ve got a face to face assessment on Dec 17th , but the whole reason I claimed was because of my conditions I can’t leave the house or walk very far as I’ve got copd and severe anxiety and ibs , does anyone know how I can go about asking for a phone appointment or video appointment, it says on the letter to ring a number if I can’t make the assessment but I’m worried if I ring and say I can’t my claim will be closed

    Hi @whufcjay. You can call them to request a phone appointment, it's what a lot of people do and your claim won't be closed for this. I believe they automatically offer a face-to-face appointment.
