Been reading more on this bill says will check for inconsistencies against your claim ie if say housebound and go on holidays socialising which i totally understand but I dont do any of those things haven't for 14 years but I spend online and squander money but what is acceptable im not going take myself ill but its concerning and as someone rightly pointed out this is everyone's accounts

At least we do have a welfare state and not soup kitchens. South Africa gives a pittance of about £250 for six months called UIF and that is if your employer paid it. Otherwise nothing and you Have to rely on charities and or eat out of bins. I am not joking and have seen the poor cooking waste scraps of food from peoples bins and selling it.
In some parts you can buy what is called Bush Meat. Cooked rat on a stick.
I am sure that USA used to give food stamps as they believe that you cannot buy alcohol or cigarettes with state money. They forget people trade food for booze and cigarettes.Seriously thinking in the new year of renting out my new home and saying bye bye to the UK as we are becoming a police/ nanny state.
Probably find out next that our smart phones are telling the GOVERNMENT how many steps we walk a day so we cannot be disabled. Believe me the information is already available on google phones and smart watches as well as Apple.Next big brother will be linking the cameras to your location by phone. Persons of interest series springs to mind.
Remember when people were upset of so many street cameras and we were told it was for our safety. Cameras everywhere now and with facial recognition.
