In December 2024 I had a pip assessment done by Maximus over the phone. On the outset the gentleman said it was been recorded foy training and quality purposes so i didnt record at my end (BIG MISTAKE) as when i got the report in March a lot of what was said to him from me and my witness was untrue on it. I asked Maximus in April for a copy of the recording, bearing in mind i got 6 for daily and 4 for mobility. I took out complaint with Maximus as it wasnt recorded and again with what was wrote on it. It went through stage 1 and i wasnt happy with reply. Then in July opened stage 2 and still waiting now for final response but they ignoring me now and i cant take it to (I.C.E.) @Dwp till i get final stage 2 response. My MP is now involved and they are getting nowhere with them. This is outrageous, i had my tribunal a week ago and got 1 extra point on daily. I asked dwp at tribunal abt Maximus, she could not answer me. Has anyone had the same happen to them abd if so did you get resolved??

@Tinklepuss62 shocking, but the untrue remarks and the lowering of points is done to other PIP claimants. Your Review turned out a stressful mess. I have not come across one like it to be honest. I would talk to a benefits adviser on what you next move should be. Personally, I would not give up on the complaint either.

I have no intention of giving up at all and I am awaiting for the transcript and statement of reasons for my tribunal although I have not received the official letter yet of my outcome, Welfare Rights informed me today and things the tribunal did not discuss with what was on my pip form and i told them so I should have got more points. This is the 4th tribunal for me over 5 years, first 2 being ESA (I won) judge told me to put in for PIP but put me in work related group even though I cannot work, had to have another tribunal 6 months later to get in ESA Support group and won this. Again judge told me to put in for PIP and told her I have, these were both face to face tribunals and my PIP tribunal in 2022 was telephone and failed this. I gave up then, was so sick but not this time. Thankyou for your comment and will tell you what outcome I have when all said and done.

Gone through a lot and still going through it Trevor but will fight all the way until I can't anymore. I'm 63 years old and don't know how long I can go on but will try my best. My MP knows all what's happening and my Benefits Officer was my adviser telling me I had a case to fight from September last year, he has been told today and will see what he says to this too. I told my adviser last year if I have no case tell me honestly as I didn't want to go through this again.

I really think they should have an independent watch dog for dishonest assessors so we can report them when they do this dishonest stuff.

    Hello Mary,

Thankyou so much for your comment on my issue and yes incredibly stressful doesn't even touch how I feel. Maximus has offered me £50 for inconvenience of time of over 6 months or more in order to get 2nd stage reply, disgusting, its not about the money but about getting the truth out of them and coming to a resolution to the end of this matter of which I am debating to take it to Ice @ dwp as they are supposed to be independent but I'm so sceptical of this too. I will update on here whatever comes of this as talk about depression and anxiety of my own health issues of which they acknowledge doesn't come close to tribunals or issues with these systems people have to go through, absolutely outrageous, they don't make you feel human at all and no empathy or sympathy is acknowledged by these companies or processes people have to go through to tell the truth on their health matters. My MP, Benefits Adviser and Welfare Rights are helping me where they can with what they can do but these 4 health care companies the DWP employ to do these assessments need to be dropped and the DWP should go off the clients Medical Records as they speak the truth, not these companies.
