Wife HOT - Myself COLD

Anyone else have a temperature problem - in that my wife/carer is walking around in a Tee shirt - and I have a thermal vest and thick hoodie on ?

She is complaining that "It is too hot" and thinking of opening windows…

I'm sitting here - thinking of turning the gas fire on

The temperature in the living room is 16.9 degrees.

    People feel different temperatures…but if your wife is too hot at just 17c then I'd be thinking that's potentially a medical condition. I don't want to guess your wife's age but perhaps that has something to do with it.

    I've felt the cold a lot more myself this year, probably due to a combination of continued worsening physical health and weight loss. I've been surprised to see I feel cold enough to want some heat on even at 20c some evenings.

    That is very cool.. Is your wife hot flushing? I often feel cold and want to warm room up if below 20c …where as carer often uncomfortably hot..

    I think I'd feel pretty cold at 16.9 degrees too, I know I definitely do at 15 degrees.

    My son & his wife have their central heating set at 16 degrees; I don't know how they manage!

    My son recently told me that they do increase this on Christmas Day when I've previously gone around to their house - phew, as they have kindly invited me around for my Christmas dinner again this year!

    My living room says 12 degrees and I have windows open. I'm wrapped up and feel fine! It needs to be much colder for me to turn on the heating.

    We have the heating on very little I love the cool and tend to go sit outside if she who must be obeyed puts it on
