Re conflict at work
Hi I want some advice re a work matter. I work at the nhs as an admin worker
A nurse at work told me a couple of days ago to inform her before completing an admin task whereas other nurses just say to complete the task and they will change it if needed as they arent fussed
The shift lead was busy so she informed the other nurse to pick up the task and I emailed her asking what to do with the referral. She didn't reply and told me later why I didnt complete the admin task as she had put an entry on without me completing my task 1st which wasnt supposed to happen
I told her that she told me previously to ask for confirmation before proceeding and she said okay with a sigh without apologising and told me to complete the task and blamed me
I made a small mistake on another task and she kind of rebuked me in front of everyone and I was going to do that task when she had responded to my email and as she didn't i forgot about it
Others said she was being a bit funny and this made me quite upset as im on a phased return to work due to psychosis and depression and anxiety.
I wanted to ask if it would be reasonable for me to complain to her manager or let it slide as other nurses arent like this to the others or to me.
My team leader who isnt the nurses manager would just say let it slide as he doesn't like conflict and is anxious.
I have been bullied in the past at an old job which caused my psychosis to happen so I dont want it to happen again
The managers are very supportive at the workplace
Thanks

Hi @lydia5683, Sorry to hear this happened to you, it's never nice to be pulled up on a mistake in front of everyone. If it's affecting you quite a lot it may be worth speaking to your own manager about it to see what they say. They might be able to have a gentle word or handle it nice and sensitively.
Hopefully the nurse was just having a bad day but it would be good to nip in the bud before it becomes a bigger problem.
