What would you pick for Christmas?

I really wish I could take away everyone's pain ๐ I hope you get some respite from it at least โค๏ธ
A few years back I was in a place that was too small, with too much stuff, and the cramped feeling had such a bad impact on me. Extra storage is great but I found the best thing I could do was let a few things go, the more space I found the more I wanted and it made moving, when I was finally able to, so much easier too! I spend most my time in dresses and love pretty ones so if you do find one under your tree I'd love to see a pic of it!!! ๐

Not a pathetic answer at all โค๏ธ we all have different reasons for our options!
Maybe if you break down some of the things you'd do with a lottery win, it would help you understand what your priorities and goals are right now and what you could maybe work towards xx

I also don't wear them which is why I'd like some! I always lose them.
It was a tractor, okay. I thought it was a train carriage, Chris in his wheelchair down from Scotland to surprise me with a turnip..

I would love a bungalow which didn't have any black mould issues water running through the roof all of my food and pans is constantly wet and covered with white mould and rust the rats have ate through the bathroom floor and now they are running around the benches and are in the cupboards and the landlord left me with no electricity or heating for nearly 2 weeks and I ended up with pneumonia and the hospital said that the cancer has come back after having half of my right lung and half of my right thyroid removed due to cancer 2 years ago I complained about the condition of the property to environmental health and housing solutions and the landlord has sent me an eviction notice due to being 2 months behind on the rent it's not very festive of him he could of waited until after Christmas I'm 60 nearly 61 on boxing day and I am really poorly and I can not be bothered with all of this ๐ข I'm stressed and so unhappy as I don't know what I'm going to do I feel so lost and broken I don't have many family left and I feel a burden to my 2 children who are grown up and they have mental health issues themselves I'm not surprised having to deal with me and my problems when they have their own problems to deal with This is supposed to be a happy time of year ๐ข I can't remember the last time I was not in pain and had a smile on my face
So sorry for this I just had to let it out Merry Christmas To you all and all of your family's hope that you have a fantastic time โจ๏ธ๐ ๐๐๐ป๐๐โจ๏ธ

Sketty, I wish you a fantastic time this Christmas too and hope you feel better soon โจ๏ธ๐ ๐๐๐ป๐๐โจ๏ธ
An eviction order could be a blessing in disguise. In the meantime, good ventilation is essential in those conditions! You do need to reach out to your family. They need to know how you're feeling.

For Christmas I'd like not to be single and find my Mr Right. Someone I can support and who can support me in turn by standing alongside me.
Someone who fulfils my emotional & physical needs and expands my life away from one of profound loneliness with too much time spent at home, alone.
So i've cleared a boyfriend shaped space under the ๐ yet again, in hopeful anticipation that this is finally going to be the year that ๐ doesn't let me down.
I've accepted and come to terms with many things that are lacking or not possible in my life, but being alone is not one of them and why should I ๐ข

Oh @Sketty ๐
I know it won't feel like it right now as it'll be very stressful, but as @WhatThe said, it sounds like the eviction notice will end up being a blessing in disguise!!! This time next year you'll be living somewhere new, that doesn't have all the issues your current place has! Have you put yourself down for housing support with your local council?
You are not a burden on your children, don't ever think like that, reach out to them, don't suffer in silence!!! โค๏ธ

@Kimi87 I hope you find exactly what you're looking for โค๏ธ you are such a warm and kind person, who offers so much help and support to so many people and you deserve the same in return!!

I'd have to go for a lottery win, that would take care of all the other things, like a bungalow with a garden, a car with a hoist & a new pair of Birks. Plus, get my nephew a house too. No pain for 24hrs would be magical as well.
