Things that you wish you had kept
I have a number of things that I really wish that I had kept from 20 + years ago - but instead, got rid of….
- A number of boxed Burago diecast cars - including a Ferrari F40 and a JPS F1 car - today these sell for up to £100 each.
- A 1985 Commodore C64
- a Sony Walkman (1979) - possibly worth up to £1000 !!
Why did I get rid of them ? To make space for more junk.
it shows how you should keep everything and never get rid of old stuff

Old things are only worth money due to rarity. If everyone kept them, they wouldn't be worth anything! 🤔

Saying That I'm watching 80s music on you tube, when I was in my early teens. Ultravox, Depeche mode, soft cell, Duran Duran etc
Although I hated school, the 80s were in some way better. I also had a commodore 64, use to freeze when playing. 😆

I still have my ZX Spectrum, and it loads the cassette games perfectly well. (The New Zealand Story still frustrates me to this day).
Chucked out the 'inferior' Commodore 64 years ago! 😉 (That used to be fighting talk in the 1980s).

My SNES, not because it'd be worth anything but because I loved playing on it and would like to again for nostalgia!
When I left home (I was a young teen) I didn't take much more than the clothes on my back, I wish I had some photos of my childhood and some of my sentimental things from back then. Oh and my birth certificate! That would have made my life a lot easier 😆

I wish i was young again.
I wish for peace on earth for everyone.
I wish i had kept my health just a little longer.
I wish i hadn't ignored my father's wish to chat the day before he passed away.

Following on from this (which is so true) often it's the stuff people didn't want, or didn't think worth preserving, which is now desirable for that very reason
Some 1960s Rolexes are worth half a million now, but not the Submariner that was popular then which Sean Connery wore, the Daytona which at the time they couldn't even sell at half the retail price
I also notice it with classic cars … lots of normal cars are worth a lot now, because when they were new people didn't see the point of preserving them; old sports cars and stuff have gone up proportionally less - I presume because people were more inclined to preserve them from day 1
