Just saying Hello
Just thought I'd say hello. I'm Andrew from Windermere. I had a stroke when I was 39 and that was 16 years ago, left me with quite severe mobility problems, but thankfully didn't harm my intellect much so that's good. I have good friends from my life but most live in different countries ( I lived in a few different countries myselfbefore my stroke ) I don't realy have many day to day friends. A lot of my what I call fair weather friends drifted off after my stroke, it happens. Only true friends stick around when you have a disability. I'm not lonely per say but a few friends to chat with would be nice.

Mary, by far my favorite country I lived in was Johannesburg South Africa. We moved there when I was 12 back in 1981 and I pretty much grew up there. I loved the weather, even in winter it was about 18c during the day but night could be chilly in Winter. I lived there till 1999 when I came back to the UK.
