My partner has top rates of PIP - we have a joint claim for UC and he gets LCWRA and I claim Carers Allowance which is deducted from UC + get Carer Premium. We are mixed age - I am 67 and not yet claimed SP - I want to now claim my SP as partner is spending all our money on rubbish - I would expect to get full amount of SP paid into my account - so will we lose all the CA and Carer Premium - that would be around £500 a month

Hi @Grabbit44. You can't claim both SP and CA at the same time but you might be entitled for some extra money in some instances such as if your pension is less than your CA. I found this link quite helpful - Carer’s Allowance, your State Pension, plus other benefits | Carers UK
