Pip ,totally confused.
My friend had a text saying we've all your information etc from pip,we will contact you soon etc. After roughly five weeks she gets award letter stating her pip will continue for five year's at standard rate for both components (just before Christmas),She never filled in a review form.,Didn't do any phone or f-f re assessment,Anyone heard of this happening before we are both puzzled. Any info welcome. She's too worried to phone them and ask why.

@Doglover2 was your friend due a Review? PIP do keep all previous information and evidence sent in. PIP are also known to have progressed claimants reviews without a Review form in the past. It is possible that they had enough information and evidence to progress a Paper based Assessment and your friend would not be contacted for a Phone or Face to Face Assessment. Especially, if their condition was not expected to improve. Was your friend due a Review? If not it is strange, but if a decision letter has been sent extending their award, all I can suggest is your friend calls PIP to clarify, rather than worrying about it.

@Trevor_PIP yes she was due a review. Her current pup award ends in around six months time. Think her mums going to phone for clarification as soon as she can. Thank you,it is v strange.
