Did you like your Christmas present
Did you like what you got for Christmas or have you already dumped it๐๐

Most of my Christmas presents were food, Christmas pudding, panettone, foxes biscuits & a box of Maltesers. I enjoy my food. My brother & sister in law know what food to buy me for Christmas

I feel really grateful this Christmas. I got a new silly calendar for next year from my best friend. My brother got me a cooling dock for my PlayStation which lights up - it's really neat.
Did you like yours @SwiftFox?

My only Christmas present was a phone call from my brilliant GP wishing me a very Merry Christmas. That call was by some considerable margin the best present (Christmas or otherwise) i have ever received.

I received a splendid drone for Xmas this year. I've almost finished charging the batteries etc. I'll sell or recycle it if I get bored with it.
For a while I've been considering getting a 4K one and the DJI Mini now has a range of 10km! I'm both grateful and very pleased that I chose to get myself one of them. I also got myself a range of good food and alcohol.
Xmas can be hard work, that (and my current mobility issues) is why my closest family (sister, niece, nephew, stepdad) and I had our Xmas meal (and games) here on the evening of the 23rd. That way it was much easier to relax for a few hours on Xmas afternoon (when my sister's partner also joined us) and enjoy some fun and games.
In my opinion Xmas is for children. It's mostly cold and dark here at this time of year and (like New Year's Eve for some adults) Xmas can be an entertaining distraction from that. Everyone else knows how much it all costs and often these days how complicated it can get. Families are now spread so far and wide by divorce, separation, etc etcโฆ It's often difficult to include everyone.
I'm interested to know if the sense of guilt implied by the tone of your question was prompted by your own trip to the bin shed SwiftFox?

I loved the gifts I got for Christmas. They were thoughtful gifts and best of all we spent Christmas with my parents. I am very grateful to my family and friends.

Yes, every one of them Holly. I do seem to get a lot of diabetic biscuits though from people๐

I was happy with most of my presents. They were mainly useful, some not so much but the thought was there. I'm most happy with pair of speedo goggles my friend got me but I'm wondering about the presents that were surprises. It sometimes says something about how well they know you. My best mate got me a soup maker that was really cool. The only present I see as a dud was Belgium chocolate flakes to sprinkle on Late's I put coco powder on mine and the person that bought it said it would be better with these flakes, then she gives me them for Christmas lol. She drinks a lot of latte and capaccino at mine. One can not help wondering if this was a self serving present lol.

"or have you already dumped it?"
I was extremely grateful for my presents and loved them thoroughly but, yes, lots of them have been flushed down the toilet by now
Sorry for the 7 year old mentality ๐

@Littlefatfriend Fantastic you received a drone - i'm so jealous (in a nice way)!
True Story:
Many years ago when drone's first became a thing i purchased one as a gift for myself. I took it down to the bottom of the garden for its maiden flight and i was amazed as it rose to about 35ft in the air. It then turned in a north-westerly direction and flew off at speed.
That was the last time i ever saw it.

Thanks Mrhappy,
Sorry to read of your mishap, they can also be surprisingly easy to crash in unreachable trees!
I've had a few of them. They can certainly sometimes be a law unto themselves.
The link below is to footage from my last one. If you know Sunderland the rectangular folly at the top of the hill at 3:00 and 5:00 is Penshaw monument.
At this time of year it's dark by the time I get mobile, but that may change in the fullness of timeโฆ

I liked my presents! Mainly food and perfume, everything else I buy myself. I got Nomination charms with initials of loved ones so I was happy with them too! I very much enjoyed an advent calendar at the start of December from M&S - very tasty!
Happy Christmas all โค๏ธ

I had some Ps4 games to play at Christmas, but the only thing is, my Ps4, it keeps losing connection with my Hisense 40" 4K tv. When I start it up it goes black and then comes back, not much good when you're playing football. There's a lot of people with Hisense complaining at the moment. Cleaned both HDMI ends and even changed the cables to no avail.
