DWP check information and savings
Hello All
Happy New Year to everyone!
Just a quick question. DWP have a put a message in my journal to check my information is up to date. The last one i filled in is about 2 years old. My saving have changed since then, but the amount is not over 6,000. Will I be investigated for not letting them know my savings have gone up from £712.00 to about £2,300?
If anyone has any advice, I would be grateful.
Thank you.

Hi @Trufflecake. You won't be investigated for that. You only need to let them know if your savings go above £6,000.
I deleted the other unfinished post by the way 😊

No, anything under £6000 you do not need to report to them.

I had to update the information and tick box that the info was correct. I updated savings amount and added up the amounts in 2 current accounts.
