hi I have been waiting weeks for a decision on if I’m awarded pip or not, it has been with the case manager for weeks

    It sounds like its gone to audit plus there are probably more delays due to the Christmas and New year break but you could ring them for an update.

    If the report is with DWP case manager then it's left the assessment company, so not going through the audit process.

    Audit is an internal quality control process within the assessment provider.

    Sometimes reports being sent to the DWP are delayed if they are chosen for audit.

    what is an audit? Does that mean anything negative?

    Audit is a routine quality control process within the assessment provider, to check the standards of work being done by the assessors.

    An assessment report being chosen for audit is neither positive or negative.
