Pip was awarded to august 2026 (3 years)
hi everyone,
I was awarded pip for 3 years until august 2026 so this year. I was under the impression i would of heard from them by now about a renewal for my claim? Or does anyone know when i may hear? Its a very anxious time especially as my health is worse than it was when i was awarded pip. Can anyone advise? Im so worried i may lose my pip :(

Some people are contacted 12 months before to start the review process, others 9 months onwards, so I'd expect to hear at any time from now personally.
Do treat the review forms as a new claim and include lots of details, using extra sheets if necessary.
If you'd like support with the process, a local welfare rights organisation can help.

ok thank you so much, do you think if i dont here by a certain time i should contact them? Also do you think im better waiting on my renewal or contacting them for a change in circumstances as i have much more health issues since my claim began and a new diagnosis? Or should i wait to just add that to the renewal?

I personally wouldn't confuse the review process by reporting a change of circumstances.
You shouldn't need to contact them no.
If a decision hasn't been made on your review, they will write to you 35 days before the end date, extending your current award.
The review decision will then apply immediately and override that end date.
