First post, what do you love about this space?
Hello everyone, curious what makes this space special!
I first came across this space through Microsoft Bing a long, long time ago, and I set it up so that my searches give donations to scope.org.uk.
I’d love to ask, what makes this space different from others? What’s the good thing you like about it? Tech and the web change so fast, and some things come and go, so it’s great to hear what keeps people here!

Welcome to the community @mus_from_england! I'm probably a bit biased as this is my job, but I love to see other members supporting each other. Lots of people are going through rough times but so many still offer a listening ear if someone's feeling upset or isolated. There will always be ups and downs in communities like these, but it's always nice to see the support and care members show to each other ☺️

How nice, friendly, and non judgemental most people are here. I think this is the only forum where I've been able to talk about my struggles in life without them/me being invalidated, dismissed, and trivialised.

Hi @mus_from_england - I've been on the community for well over 6 years, & have made friends with some lovely people here. In fact (after taking the time to get to know each other), another member & I have met in real life on many occasions now, & regularly phone & text each other in between visits.
Other members I consider genuine friends & I value them immensely.
Forum members, & the moderators, offer genuine support.
Other forums had far less activity than here, tho this forum seems to have become a bit quieter recently. I also saw terrible benefits 'advice' on another, which I very quickly left!
