I cant believe after a PIP review assessment ive gone from both enhanced daily living and mobility to absolutely nothing. I asked that the assesment was recorded to stop any lies being told and cant believe they have still told untrue things and twisted all my words .

How do they think they can get away with it? Ive got evidence they are lying on my recording.

    Welcome to the community.

That must have been an awful shock, especially going from enhanced to nothing. When that happens, it usually means the report is wrong, not that your needs have suddenly changed.

Ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration in writing, don’t do it over the phone. You don’t need a special form. Just write a letter with your name, address, National Insurance number, the date of the decision, and say you’re asking for a Mandatory Reconsideration.

Then go through the decision and explain which parts are wrong and why. Say what you actually told them, how things really are for you day to day, and where the report doesn’t match that. You can send any evidence you have to support what you’re saying.

You can also add that your account of events is supported by your recording of the assessment.

Send the letter to the address on your decision letter. A lot of people get decisions like this changed once they challenge it.

Oh no, that's disgraceful. These assessors need assessing. Surely the GP is better informed. The system is not fit for purpose. I'm dreading going through the process again it makes me anxious. You do your best to get through every day and fear for your future only to be brushed aside. People in chronic pain don't have the fight for this. I truly feel for you, I hope you can find someone to assist you in your battle.
