hi guys, wanted some advice and opinions. I did my form in a complete anxiety state and rush and just screwed it up and missed out essential things. I am now prepared for my assessment. My question is, will this affect my score?

    Hi,

Most people have further input such as a telephone or video call. If that is what you mean by assessment then you will have the chance there to explain things that you missed on the form.

If you have a paper-based assessment then there won't be another chance to add anything more. In that case you should contact the assessment provider asap to add the extra information before they read the form. (This only applies if you haven't been asked to attend a verbal appointment of some sort).

You should be given an opportunity to explain the difficulties that you face if you have a telephone or face to face assessment. You say that you are prepared for the assessment so that is positive. It might be helpful to make some notes of the main points that you want to get across which you can refer to during the assessment if you become anxious.

thank you! It is a telephone call. Is it worth writing a note to put in for evidence that I struggled with the form due to pain, anxiety and fatigue causing me to feel overwhelmed?

During your assessment they will ask you the same questions as on the form, so you will have the chance to repeat what you wrote and explain anything else that you want to add.

So will the decision maker mainly go off the report in the assessment?

No, I don't think that will make any difference.

As you're having a phone call, the assessor will use both your form answers and the phone answer to make their recommendation.

The Decision Maker will then get to read the assessors notes, to see whether they agree with the assessor or not.

    Good day.

When you have the phone call.. tell them what happened, and you hope to give more insight into your difficulties..

Write down what you feel you missed and keep it next to you as a reminder. Best wishes.
