Accidently requesing a rent change then cancelling request

Hi I accidentally pressed for a request to change my rent on universal credit .I didn't change any details or submit the request but did leave messages on my journal explaining that it was an accident and my rent hasn't changed does this affect my rent now any help would be great I didn't change the rent details they already have for me just cancelled the request

    Welcome to the community @dom1234 I can see OverlyAnxious has answered your question, but I just wanted to add that I've done a similar thing before by accident and it was all fine, didn't affect anything at all ☺️

    You should be fine. If you didn’t submit any new rent details and cancelled the change, Universal Credit won’t adjust your housing element. Leaving a journal message explaining it was accidental was the right thing to do. At most, a case manager might just note it or ask to confirm nothing changed it shouldn’t affect your rent payment. Just keep an eye on your journal in case they reply.
