Stressed with Pip renewal wait
HHi, I have now been waiting 20 months for my pip renewal. Was told in September it had been sent to external assessment but now on ringing again been told its in a queue with DWP to be sent for assessment!. I have since sent in a detailed OT report which they confirmed was on file but said it wouldn't be looked at until sent to the external assessor. I can't see on here anyone else's taking this long and it is now stressing me so much. I received a letter saying as it hadn't yet been reviewed it is being extended by another year ( that's 2 extensions now) so I know,I am still getting paid but the wait is awful. Is anyone else in same predicament?

Are you able to ask your local MP to chase it up for you? It does seem a long wait and is obviously stressful for you.

Sorry to hear you've been waiting so long @slm, that's definitely a big wait. You could try contacting your MP as mentioned above. Once it gets to an assessor, you can sometimes contact the assessment services for updates on how long it'll take, but it doesn't sound like it's even made it that far yet.
Fingers crossed it all comes through soon, that must be really stressful waiting for it to arrive!
