Favourite foods
Following on from @Holly_Scope's request for meal ideas for 1, I'm wondering what your favourite foods or meals are (quick or otherwise!)?
Mine change depending on my mood but my top 3 meals are probably:
Spaghetti carbonara, lamb roast and you can't beat a plain old cheeseburger!

I'm on protein meals and slimming world meals but I could easily demolish a kebab right now, one of my faves.

Pasta and meatballs is a great meal. Quick to make and tasty.
I usually make it with tomato Pasta sauce, but on the advice of my cousin, i tried making it with tomato and bacon pasta sauce. I use tagliatelle pasta.

I'm bit weird about food, so my range has shrunk. An easy one though that is a safe go to is what the kids call eggy bread (French toast) couple of eggs, whisk add salt and pepper to season , coat the bread, white is my preference for this, add to hot oil in frying pan cook both sides till brown. I prefer savoury, but some people like sweet , dust with icing sugar, . I don't eat much red meat/burgers or ready meals, need to know exactly what's in them. Occasionally make my own burgers which I enjoy so simple and can add whichever seasoning to spice it up.

I'm a fussy eater but one of my favourite foods is Yorkshire pudding. I've learned how to make them in the air fryer and they come out perfect everytime. I might have eggy bread for my lunch @NDmummy, thanks for the recipe!

Potatoes. Chips, roasties, mash, fried. All the potatoes please.
But also, big fan of roasted broccoli! And quite a lot of other veg, which is lucky because otherwise I might just eat potatoes 😁
At the moment I love a rice bowl - sticky rice, seaweed, veggies, and a protein of some kind with some sweet chili sauce or soy on it. I buy the microwave rice packs so it's nice and quick too.

I love a curry and in Wales we have "half n half" which is rice, chips and curry.
I haven't seen this offered anywhere when I have ventured into England but I'm very interested to know if its just a Welsh thing or if i've just gone to the wrong places in England???!!!😅0 -
Salad croutons mango pomegranate beetroot dried fruit sometimes kiwi pineapple bacon bits

That sounds amazing @Mary_Scope! The curry places around where I live don't serve chips at all. Some a bit further away do and the Chinese takeways as well, but there isn't a special name for it, it's just sold as a side. I need to visit Wales more often!
Ooh delicious and sounds very healthy @Catherine21. I love meals that have lots of different textures and tastes in them.
