Access to work Support rate £17 per hour

I have not been able to find any virtual support assistant that charges less than £25 per hour. Does anyone have experience of challenging the £17 rate through reconsideration?

Have you tried Maximus (Previously called Remploy)

I didn't know you could be charged for access to work support, as the only services I have been offered in the past have been free.

    Maximus is free to use.

Do you mean, that's what it pays or you have to to pay. Where did you find out that you have to pay for this?.

sorry for the confusion, I thought that lots of people would have experience of this with AtW, and would have experience of the problem. The issue is that virtual support workers charge £25-35 per hour plus VAT. The problem is the most that AtW will pay is £17.

so I am looking for any advice from anyone who has successfully used the “reconsideration” process. I obviously will send in quotes, but I don’t want to use the wrong language. I need to know what the criteria are so I can make the submission properly.

Hi @katwater51 sorry no-one was able to answer your question. Did you ask for a reconsideration?
