I’m happiest when life feels meaningful and calm. I get excited by deep conversations, learning something new, and moments that bring people closer together. Simple things make me happy—sharing a good coffee, laughter with family or friends, prayer and quiet reflection, traveling and discovering new places, and feeling appreciated for who I truly am. I value sincerity, kindness, and emotional connection, and I believe joy grows when it’s shared with the right person.

    This is actually my first time trying out an online dating site, so it all feels a bit strange and unfamiliar to me. Please forgive any awkwardness—especially in how I express myself. My son helped me set up my profile, so I’m still getting the hang of everything.

    Finding love and a serious relationship has never been easy and I think the modern world has made it harder as so much has disappeared online rather than in person and relies on apps rather than friends/pubs/clubs etc or meeting through clubs or societies. It has certainly passed me by but that is more than likely to do with my mental health. It certainly sounds as though you are starting from a great place and have a solid foundation on which to build a serious relationship. It is refreshing to hear someone concentrating on positives rather than list all the things they dislike. you sound like a really positive person and I hope that you do find love.

    I don't know if you have heard of 'Outsiders'? But sites like that would be a better bet. This forum is just for chat.

    I hate to break it to you but this is certainly not a dating website. Also goodluck with dating sites as most are either full of bots or rip you off. The only way to truly meet someone is by naturally meeting someone either through the real world or through a passion like gaming or something.

    @StarryEyed hi im Emily and im 31 while I am aware that this is not a dating site at all. I am looking for the same thing. Being single is no fun especially when you've got health issues and you think the worlds gone against you in that department. Ive been single for years now dont ask me how many too many years to count, I hate tne thought of spending the rest of my life without that special someone with the same type of condition as me. I dont believe in dating sites because they say there are free but actually have a look you have to pay a monthly fee. But hey thats just my opinion! @pooleemily29 😀
