Work and ESA support/permitted work
Can anyone help please?
I currently claim ESA support group and doing permitted work. However my health/pain has become worse that I feel I may need to give up my little job which is only 4 hrs per week over 2 days
I'm struggling with the pain and it's making me worse now, so if I tell ESA I can no longer get continue my permitted work of which I am paid for, will this affect my ESA?
Thankyou

No it won't impact on your ESA at all.

Hi,
Your ESA won't be affected by stopping Permitted Work. You will still get the same Support Group rate of payment. (Just not the wage from working, of course).

Thankyou, I was worried I may have to re claim and start all over again.
The only other benefit I get is PIP.
Much appreciated 👍

Obviously I need to let them know if I do stop working for now?

Hi @Jacqui5268, sorry to hear your health hasn't been too good lately. Yes, it's best to let them know that you've stopped working.
