Does anyone know where you can buy/download or get sight of a technical manual for a Greenpower Unique 500?

Thanks

Many thanks. I'm really looking for a Haynes Manual sort of publication - but these are a step in the right direction! Thanks again.

Green Power do not make the workshop manuals available to customers, they prefer to sell the parts to you then charge about 130 quid to come and fit it for you. it is a huge con. I am not sure of the legality of this, but it is immoral. I am working on removing the panels and I will post results when I have been successful.

Have you tried your local mobility shop? I get them to take my scooter away for any repairs, I doubt my insurance policy would be valid if i tinkered with it myself.

I did call out a local company but as soon as he saw it was green power he refused to work on it.

They don't seem to have a very good reputation, that's a bit of a problem for you then. Did he say why he couldn't touch a Green Power scooter?

It is basically protectionism. Green power do not sell parts to other businesses or individuals so it is impossible for other businesses or individuals to carry out repairs on any Green power scooters. I have spoken to them about this. They claim it is legal but I'm not sure though, I thought we had a right to repair and these policies interfere with that. They also feel that it is not immoral to take advantage of the elderly or infirm in this way.

Don't buy scooters from green power!

I never would, they seem too good to be true for the low price. My class 3 scooter costs 3 times as much new; i bought mine second hand from Mobility Giant.
