Water is absolutely fine @Biblioklept, it's actually the best thing to drink as it's cold and clear! I think mine will be in for 9 months but it depends on how much the teeth need to move. A couple of my friends have had it and their teeth look gorgeous now, which feels like a weird word to describe teeth but it's true!
