🐶Channel 4’s BAFTA Nominated The Dog House Is Looking for Dog Lovers🐶
The BAFTA nominated Channel 4 programme The Dog House is returning for a brand-new series and they're looking for people from across the UK who are thinking about adopting a rescue dog.
They want this new series to be inclusive and representative, celebrating the universal love of dogs and showing how they can become part of many different lives, homes and families.
Filmed at Woodgreen Pets Charity, the programme follows their expert team as they carefully match rescue dogs with people whose lifestyles and homes are the right fit. The show takes time to get to know both the dogs and the people opening their homes (and hearts!) to them.
Whether you live alone, with family, the team would love to hear from anyone who feels ready to offer a safe and loving home to a dog in need.
You can watch clips from previous series on YouTube - Welcome to The Dog House!

It's so heart warming @birdwatcher. I wish I could take part, but I'm not in the right situation to have a dog yet. One day!

My home was named "The Dog house" 50 years ago. I still have the sign outside. 😆
Great programme.

I haven't watched this show before @birdwatcher but it looks right up my street!
Ha i love that @Doglover2!! How many dogs did you have?0 -
@Mary_Scope Three at a time.
If my house had been bigger I'd have loved more. Their loss is still profound. I adore dogs and animals in general. I had a Rottweiler, Staffy, Yorkshire terriers, Jack russells and a corgi x Jack.

Me too @Doglover2, I would've loved to have a house full of dogs! Wow, it sounds like you've had experience with lots of different breeds
I understand what you mean, I don't think you ever truly "get over" losing a beloved pet, they are so much more than that!!

@Mary_Scope Dogs have always been my love. My mum said as a child i could never pass a dog by and always said "Awww poor doggie he must be hungry." 😆
My first toy ,which i still have 60 yrs on is a little rubber dog.
I love Terriers. But I did adore my Rottie.

That's so lovely that you still have your dog toy after all these years @Doglover2. I love dogs too, they just instantly make me happy. I talk to my baby daughter and dogs in the same way 😂 I wish we could have one but we have 2 cats which are enough of a handful!

@Rachel_Scope My dogs have always been treated like the precious beings they are.
They all had their own song that was specific to them, little nicknames and a very special place in my heart forever. They even have their own memorial christmas tree. My house is a shrine to those who came before and my current boy. I miss those dear souls every waking moment.
