Crikey 6pm is drawing ever closer and i'm already panicking.
6pm this evening i will have my first Mounjaro weight-loss video call with the wrap-around NHS service. It should've occurred a couple of weeks ago but i quit the program because i was so panicked about the weekly video call thing. My Brilliant GP blew a gasket on hearing the news i'd quit the program before it had even begun so he convinced the wrap-around lead lady Katherine to take me back. I'm still panicked because i do not cope well with real world conversations either in person or on the telephone so i'm not sure how i will cope with a video call because that's a combination of real world and telephone.

Hello, just wishing you all the very best for 6pm this evening. I’m so glad that your brilliant GP has arranged your call and continuation on the course.

my daughter is autistic and adhd and she hates the phone and in person conversations, but manages really well with video calls. So whenever possible we FaceTime. I don’t know if it’s because she can arrange her background and see how she’s coming across and so has more control. You might surprise yourself. Hope it all goes well. Don’t forget it’s their job to support you and help you to succeed. Good luck.

My first Mounjaro video call went ok. I never spoke other than to say 'Hi' but the trainer lady was very charismatic so the one hour duration flew past. I had to hold my phone away from me at certain times because there were 30 people in the chat and on a few occasions it seemed they were all talking at the same time which i struggled to cope with. One video session done, nine more to go.

Glad to hear it went okay @MrHappy. And at least now you know what to expect with your next video call with them so hopefully that makes you feel a bit less anxious
