Moving back to mothers - will she lose her pension credit?

hi I’m moving back into mums house which is council. I know I will have to pay council tax and rent but mum receives Pension Credit of around £8 a week will this be lost?I receive low rate PIP but also work

Hi @Grambyh1, welcome to the community ☺️ Your mum shouldn't lose her pension credit if you move in. You're usually seen as two separate people unless you are a couple, so most benefits will continue to be the same if you move in.

Just make sure they know you get PIP as her pension credit possibly includes calculation for SDP!
