Varicose veins? Hearing problems.

So,for a number of years, slowly getting worse, both of my legs have been very painful to touch ,my thighs esp. Very tender areas that bruise like a peach ,something I never had in my life, you could have hit me with a hammer and I'd barely bruise. Anyhoo, I can feel little bulges here and there ,that are like being poked with glass when touched, not blue or discoloured like veins but feel like swollen veins. Anyone any idea if these are varicose veins? I was a bit overweight which I guess didnt help, but I've lost three stone over the last 9 months. To try to take the weight off the legs and my bad knees.Still so painful though. I can't get a docs appt. I've also developed tinnitus after the worst bouts of chest infections I've ever had last year, my entire head felt blocked too,and I lost hearing in one ear for three months, now I've whooshing sounds, hissing and sometimes a bell like noise in my ear. Today I heard a lorry reversing and the "beep beep, beep" um,no, it was my hearing. More to add to my catalogue of woes.🙄😬

Hi @Doglover2 I'd definitely recommend seeing a Doctor about this, especially if it's been ongoing for a few years and getting worse. You've mentioned being unable to get an appointment? Can you request an advance appointment with your GP?

@Holly_Scope They don't do advanced appointments at our surgery. They almost tore a bit off my consultant when he wanted me to request blood tests for my digestive problems and for them to book me to see a phycologist. They never got back to pre covid booking and it as bad enough then.

@Catherine21 Same,Irish-Scots. Maybe its something else then, and not varicose veins.. but i def feel raised bits, my mum has a few, well i guess at 80 years of age you would, she said hers are very tender too... but who knows. Thanks ,I'm trying to lose a wee bit more weight.
