Hi after my psych report I asked the gp if he could update my health notes to complex ptsd and not depression or anxiety so I am clear where I am in my journey . To be fair the depression and anxiety part of the report was fluffy but said I didn't display signs and was upbeat and positive . My gp has messaged me to say he is going to clarify things with the psych but has added ptsd. Do you think its just the fluffy part he is querying or is he pushing my rediagnosis of complex ptsd from my old diagnosis of bipolar. He accepted that months ago but its such a traumatic event for me and has me worried x also I forgot to say my psych is weaning me off of the antipsychotic and lithium

    I just been diagnosed with cpstd and i found that out by reading psych cant spell i will keep that letter if i need to show anyone no the doctor has to listen to the psychtrists report so if they say cptsd then thats final

    It sounds like your GP is just checking the wording, not changing your diagnosis. try to take breathe and ask directly again.
