PIP Review without additional evidence or assessment
sorry if this is the wrong place to post this!
I’ve recently filled in and returned my PIP renewal form and it was getting close to the deadline, so I quickly sent the form back and had noted that I will send evidence separately. Before I’ve had time to submit the additional evidence, I’ve already had a text to say that they’ve received my renewal form and then another to say that my PIP review has been completed.
I hadn’t sent in additional evidence, nor had I been asked to attend a face to face or telephone assessment. It all seems a bit quick to have been successful.
Is it unlikely that they’ve extended my award? Any help or experiences would be appreciated!

Hi @casimist, welcome to the community. It sounds like they've done a paper assessment, which doesn't necessarily mean anything good or bad. It just means they felt they had enough evidence from your forms to make a decision without speaking to you any further.
Did you need to tell them about any deteriorating symptoms or changes in your condition?
Hope you hear back from them soon, I know it's nerve wracking waiting for a result. Especially if the process hasn't gone the way you were expecting!
