There is no such thing as "too much" cheese!!

I'm having minted lamb steaks, crispy potatoes, savoy cabbage and minted lamb gravy. Really looking forward to it, it's currently my favourite meal!

@WhatThe, when you say sourdough with olive oil, do you mean you brush it with oil before (or after??) toasting and nothing else?? That sounds really nice but I've never used oil in this way so not sure what I'm meant to do!

Ooooh I forgot tahini exists, where do you get yours from? I love rice cakes but get bored as only have peanut butter on them

I've never tried sardines of mackerel ๐Ÿ˜… I really want to start eating fish but it looks scary to me!! I didn't know you can get quinoa pouches, I do rice ones when I really can't cook but end up with it plain or with microwave veggies and nothing else, I'm going to look for some - thank you!! โค๏ธ

Cheese pasta bake is one of my favourites @luvpink!! I struggle with it though as always make tooooo much and not sure how to reheat it so feels wasteful, although sometimes I eat the left overs cold!

Never too much cheese @Carl_Scope!! ๐Ÿคฃ

@Amberpearl oooh I forgot how much I enjoy cheese on crackers yummmmm

    @Biblioklept

I usually make too much but my partner takes it to work the next day and re-heats it in a microwave.

I've had pasta today. Sauce made with aubergine, lentils, tomatoes, red onion, sweet potato and vegan cream. Spiced with basil and smoked paprika. Creamy, Mediterranean flavour.

That sounds lovely @MissMarple! I've got a few roasted veg and some lentils, so you've inspired me to make something similar for dinner ๐Ÿ˜‹ Do you usually blend up the sauce or keep the veggies chunky?

I try to keep it as simple as possible @Rosie_Scope I chuck everything in the microwave and take it out when it's reached the softness level to my liking. The flavours blend together quite nicely if it's left long enough.

I'm with you on raspberries @onmylonesome. I tried some recently and they were furry! So weird.

I'm keeping it simple for tea tonight with tomato soup.

I only tried them because im on a health kick and with IBS I can only have certain fruits, on the pack it said "sweet and juicy"! they was dry and horrible!

The package lied to you, they've never been sweet and juicy ๐Ÿ˜‚ What other fruits can you have instead?

Not many unfortunately but I do get through a LOT of small oranges (easy peelers on the label) and bananas.

I did try grapes a few weeks ago (which I like) but a few hours later they made a quick exit ๐Ÿคฃ

Biblioklept, it's a dark, seeded sourdough toasted (I keep it sliced in the freezer) with olive oil dripped on top (salt optional). My daughter persuaded me to try it when we both were found to have high cholesterol.

I get my dark tahini from Lidl (again) when they run their Greek specials or a jar of Meridian at a health food shop as it's not as salty as some. Tahini on rice cakes is bit of an acquired taste but I like it. I have also been known to shovel lumps of cheddar into my mouth alongside the rice cakes if I'm too hungry to wait for anything better and occasionally just salted peanuts.

I have the quinoa packet here - it contains 99% red and white quinoa with no onions or stuff I can't eat and costs a little over a pound. I've not looked for them anywhere else because these are perfect!

Being a woman over a certain age, I have to keep up my calcium intake. The tins of fish can be messy and smelly but it's a lot easier than catching fish ourselves. Choose tuna steak over chunks which can resemble cat food ๐Ÿฑ

If it has to be a quick meal..Then it's baked bean toasties in the machine

Another quick, easy and nutritious meal I used to eat was cheese on baked beans on short grain brown rice. It's a low FODMAP diet for me now so beans are off the menu.
