Ive had a jh500 for 3 years which after a few 'initial ' teething problems has been trouble free, until ystd when first it would not stop going forwvard unless i turned it off and then it would not go at all. When i turn the ignition on the lights work but it won't move. I think its the controller but i don't know wherre it is, any suggestions ? And if it is that where can i get a replacement.

Hi this post is fairly old so I suspect it is now fixed. However as I have had this problem in the past I thought I would share my experiences of JH500. The big red switch is very prone to damp (as are all the switches on the tiller). Spray with an electric contact cleaner (WD40 Specialist Contact Cleaner Spray) flipping the switch back and forward until you get full functionality then use a switch protection spray.

Green Power are shysters and will not help you to fit any of the spares you buy from them. but they will be happy to charge you120 quid to travel to your house, put the scooter in a lorry so you cannot see what they are doing.

It took me a while to find the two hidden screws, once you remove them the rest is obvious. They are found on each side of the steering column facing forward, once they are removed the small "bib" just under the main light can be popped off.
