Losing my pip
Hi, my name is Darren,, I'm worried that when I get my next pip form to fill out, that because of learning disabilities I find it difficult to understand what the question is asking me. And the fact that they are making it a lot difficulter to be awarded the same rate of pip that I got from my last reassessment .
I'm a lot worse now than the last time I was reassessed.
Im hoping to get the pip form and not have to have a face to face assessment, I struggle with server social anxiety, and I can't use the phone, because I have a speech impediment which I find it difficult to get my words out, and because of that, my social anxiety goes through the roof, and it gets awkward.my next reassessment is in September 2026. Just before the cut off date were the new pip form starts rolling out.
I hope I get the pip form that is in use now. And hopefully with what my answers are that they add up enough points that allow me to be awarded pip and the enhanced rate for both parts, like I was awarded the enhanced rate, I'm noticeably worse now since my last reassessment. I'm making sure all my medical records are up-to-date with all my new added disabilities that have developed over a few years. And I'm also going to get my doctor, to write a formal letter explaining that I've become noticeable my physical disability and my number of mental health issues that have developed over a few years. So with his professional letter explaining everything they need to know and understand, and write the letter in a professional way using medical terminology. I've also got a certificate the means I'm exempt from paying council tax because I I have server mental health disabilities. I can only hope I can understand the questions in the form and answer them correctly and give as much information and proof to make the correct decision and can still award me pip at the correct level, the enhanced award for both parts of the pip assessment.
Thanks
Darren

I'd always recommend getting help filling in the form from a local welfare rights organisation.
