Mental health support
Hi,
I don’t know how to start this post I’m trying to keep it brief, I am autistic and I have been experiencing ASB for the last 2 years from my neighbour, harassment, abuse, hate crime, drug use, constantly slamming doors and having unsavoury characters around. I am traumatised from her behaviour which has made it worse because I am living in communal front door property which leads to stairs then my separate front door. I am constantly anxious and can’t relax, I have the MP involved, local councillor, SARI, victim support, Phower advocate, disability solicitor. It’s been a constant fight and my mental and physically health has been impacted a lot. She failed an undertaking order ( to refrain from certain behaviours) she breached this countless times and the council did not go back to court and let it expire on January 29th 2026 she would of been in contempt of court. The council were looking to give a civil injunction. On Monday the 9th Febuary the police were knocking on the door and the neighbour was taken away in a private ambulance. I am still processing and need some support,I have a phone call with my doctor on Wednesday.

Hi @lunabella I am sorry you are having such a challenging time. It must be very difficult for you, when your home is supposed to be your safe place.
I am sure it will take some time for you to process all you have been through. I hope your doctor will be able to help you when you speak to him on Wednesday.
The forum is here to help and support you where we can. If you have any questions please just ask.
Take care.

I’m so sorry you’re in this situation. I have had a similar experience and know how distressing this is. I struggled to get much help with it other than the police and my social worker. The charity who owned the flats were awful. I’m glad to see you have people supporting you. In the end my social worker helped me apply for social housing and my situation meant I was a priority. I was adamant that there be no shared front door this time. I was offered a council house quite quickly and the difference was unbelievable. Would moving be an option for you?
