Evening All,

Can anyone give any clarity on reassessments for LCWRA.

I have been on LCWRA since 2017,had two reassessments in that period of time, once in a normal assessment once at the Tribunal.

Its was advised by the Tribunal not to see me again for at least 2yrs,in the mean time my PIP lower daily, higher mobility was given a 10yr soft touch based on degenerative muskeloskeletal issues.

Will i be reassessed for LCWRA again or as i am a long term recipient of LCWRA/PIP will not be,it says some will be,some wont be.

Hi @TerryG is there any notes on your LCWRA award paperwork about the length of your award based on what the Tribunal suggested. It's been a good 9 years since your last LCWRA if it hasn't been reviewed since 2017 so seems like a long award. If you are unsure and it's not clear on your paperwork, you could always give DWP a call to clarify.

Yes there can be long waits for assessment.

You can contact your Health Assessment Agency for updates, living in Northern Ireland Capita handle the assessments.

It is really unlikely that anyone on LCWRA will be reassessed in the foreseeable future. This is because new Work Capability Assessments have been given priority. Then there are a large number of people who have LCW and have asked to be reassessed as they think that they should have LCWRA. I understand that planned reassessments of individuals in England who are already on LCWRA have been cancelled so that DWP can tackle the backlog.
