Pareidolia - Seeing faces everywhere ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿ˜

Has anyone else heard of pareidolia? It's the ability to see faces in random objects and it happens to me all the time. It's actually quite annoying sometimes!

I'd love to see your pareidolia pics, and wonder if there's anyone that doesn't see faces in everything?

Here's mine, a grimacing monster egg carton!

    i get that quite a lot, more so on wooden things, and on my bathroom lino, oh and trees and clouds

    There's one in the Artex on my ceiling. Noticed it once laying in bed and haven't been able to un-see it since! ๐Ÿ˜„

    Ooh you'll have to try and take a picture @OverlyAnxious and we can see if we see it too!

    Totally agree that wooden things are really good for seeing faces in @auldyin65. My bathroom floor is wood effect and I'm always seeing new characters in it. I sometimes wonder if I should try drawing them but I know that the drawing wouldn't reflect the vision in my head!

    I had never heard of the word "Pareidolia" before and when I googled it, I had such laugh at the photos. Especially the bottom right!!!

    The image contains several objects that resemble faces: A set of electrical outlets with a face-like appearance. A cup of coffee with foam forming a smiling face. A sink faucet with knobs and a drain that resemble a face. An orange box with a face-like design. A washing machine with a red garment partially visible, resembling a face.
