NHS Court Case
Hi everyone,
I'm new here and suffer from cerebral palsy. So I will be brief. After DECADES of receiving surgical appliances support from the NHS I have been told that I will no longer be supplied with those appliances. Its not because I don't medically require them or have medically and miraculously been cured. Its because the administrators in the NHS don't think that I need the appliances. After a long argument they have cut me off from communications. So I am taking them to court.
I will let you all know what happens because it could affect every one of you. The fact that these administrators can cut you off from medical needs will mean that if I lose you could be next.
I find it difficult to understand that with the current Labour government in power pouring hard earned taxpayers money into the NHS that I have to do this. But I think it is more about the administrators earning money and promotions than about medical needs.
Anyway, that's it for now. I will let you know when it happens. I have been waiting for over 9 months for a hearing and the courts have been bandying me about from one court to another. Don't know why.

Welcome to the community @cpm121 - great to have you with us!
It's awful to read about your situation and the steps your having to take. I hope you're able to get this resolved without waiting too much longer, and to your satisfaction. Thank you for sharing this with us and I look forward to your updates. I've included @Richard_Scope and @Lucy_Scope from our CP team who might be extra interested in this.
On another note, feel free to explore the community and engage in games and conversations, especially if you ever need to take your mind off things 😊
