Lcwra back pay

in Universal Credit (UC)

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me.

My assessment periods are from 30 th of the month to the 29th.

My first fit note was 20 October 2025.

I was awarded lcwra on 09.02.26

They are saying I am only entitled to lcwra from march and won't be receiving back pay. Is this correct ?

    Hi,

    That is correct. There are 3 full waiting periods without payment, then you start getting paid at the end of the 4th.

    30th Oct - 29th Nov
    30th Nov - 29th Dec
    30th Dec - 29th Jan

    LWCRA Included: 30th Jan - 28th Feb

    LCWRA paid: Approximately 6th March
