My husband and I have been privately renting a house for 16 years. We pay 850 pounds a month to our landlord. We also pay the council for removing household refuse and garden waste. Now the council is telling us that we must pay them 220 pounds monthly. I am retired and only have a low pension. My husband is self employed and his income can vary. Can anyone advise if we must pay the council monthly?

    I just would like to ask you 1 more question please

    my husband’s sister is cerebral palsy, she want to go different country for treatment, she get benefit, her aim save money at different country because interest very high , and will go treatment, is it illegal or legal for saving money at different countries, I checked from Google it say it’s not illegal but I just wanted to be sure that’s why I ask this question

    Shortly can people who get benefit save money at different countries?
