Hi, my name is Joanne66!
Hi I'm currently off work sick. My job is working with children with complex needs. I have arthritis in my knees and spine. Got fibromyalgia. Sciatica. Mental health. I don't think I can go back to work as I can't physically and mentally do it anymore. I have worked all my life im 60 in September. My husband works. What can I claim. Thanks

Hi,
If you're currently getting SSP then you can claim New Style ESA when that ends.
If you and your husband have savings of less than £16,000 between you then you may also be able to claim some Universal Credit as a couple in addition to that.

Thank you. I have worked 40 odd years with children with complex needs. Im struggling getting my head around not being able to go back work. Spend most of my time in bed.
