Reform want to remove the equality act

I am very concerned that Reform want to abolish the Equalities Act. This will particularly hit disabled people hit hard, as disabled people will no longer have a right to ask for reasonable adjustments, and employers will be able to discriminate. Not just jobs, could affect daily life, like in shops, and shops and other services will be able to refuse you based on what colour of your skin, or what gender you are or, age or disability as examples.

With them wanting dramatically cut welfare to the bare bones and remove the equality act so it's extremely hard to get a job for disabled, are Reform trying to get disabled people killed? Sounds like it's a way to doing so and with Lee Anderson in charge of welfare under a reform government disabled people will suffer the most from a Reform government, and I can see thousands of thousands of deaths happening

According to LBC or Ladbrokes, Reform are no longer the favourites to win the next election.

Even worse, he wants to remove the European Convention on Human Rights! Won't happen, even the extreme far right aren't stupid enough to vote for that, and a Pox on the ones that do.

Also, it pains me to say this but the Equality Act wants ripping up and rewriting anyway IMO, in its current form it's unenforceable, not that the Tories or Labour ever enforced it anyway.

Reform wouldn't replace it either, and they would leave the ECHR, so we would have no chance to even protest

I think most plans of the far right would hit everyone hard except the ultra wealthy. Their only concern is making money. They don't want public funds to go towards decent wages, benefits, social mobility etc. The fewer legal rights workers have, the easier it is to exploit them.

The Equalities Act 2010 gives disabled people a sliver of protections, now you know if that goes Reform will target the low hanging fruit aka disabled people.

The Equalities Act 2010 gives Women more rights to my knowledge within the workplace.

Some People in Britain are willing to impoverish themselves, to throw away their own rights so a family of immigrants doesn't come to Britain. I think that is the crux of it.

And that right there is the crux of the problem, they're so blinded by their blatant racism/hatred of "them nasty 'orrible immigrants" they can't see the real issues.

They also want to leave the ECHR as well

Which will never happen, even the extreme far right aren't daft enough to vote for that.

Benefits are set in law and would need to go through Lords as well as Commons before any changes get implemented !
