Hiya so I care for my mum full time but I don't have any income, She migrated from ESA to UC a few months ago. I was just looking into claiming UC & Carers element but last time I looked when she was on ESA it would've effected her money and she dindnt want that. Now shes on UC would me claiming UC & Carers element effect her UC money?

Back when I was living with my Parents full time (over 20 years ago), Mum was claiming Carer's allowance for looking after me, yet when she turned 60 (she'll be 77 in May), the government took it off her.
