Pip text
I'm taking it this is your bog standard pip receipt text? I've never had texts from them before until this review. To say I'm deeply depressed and full of sheer anxiety and panic would be an understatement.
Thanks x

Hi @Doglover2, I'm so sorry you're feeling so low about it all but I also do understand. My review is not due until Aug '27 but suspect I could get the texts from c ? Aug '26. I refuse to get depressed about it. My initial application for PIP (Aug 2022) took until March 2024 and Tribunal following an unsuccessful MR. That all impacted adversely on my health and I anticipate the same nonsense again.
I don't know what the answer is for you not to feel so depressed about it. My way of dealing with it will be to know that I have gathered my evidence and that I'll pursue it to Tribunal again, if needed whilst knowing that could be very time consuming. My health issues are enough to feel depressed about, I won't allow faceless people, devoid of common sense, and honesty, to add to that again.
Sorry, that's not such a 'straightforward' answer. I've looked for other sources of support (food bank for one) and 'hoarding' food that has long dates (I don't spend more than 1.20 per meal mostly).
Our survival means more than anything else at all. In the meantime, consider getting a 'reserve' .... ie I don't pay water bills/applied for a grant to pay that off and energy bills reduced by very low monthly payments.
I've scrutinised everything I pay each month, it's a tough way to live but necessary for me, to ensure mine and my dogs' survival.

Thank you @Kimi87 & @Santosha12 .
I've done two tribunals and won both times third time was reinstated at MR, but the toll its taken is ridiculous. Decades and lifelong conditions with needs not changing, I'm almost 60 when do they think my needs will suddenly end? I absolutely feel for all on the pointy end of their logic.. I see none. Tbh I've a great need for pip like so many others to help manage various aspects of my numerous conditions. So it will be a tight squeeze should I lose. This is my nemesis it really is. The worst for me would be a f-f like first time. Thought the last phone call "assessment " left me in one terrible state. We wait in hope again... I guess. Thank you both.

I agree about face to face assessments.
For me they were the absolute worse.
I had a phone assessment once and it was thorough, fair and accurate.
That was for my esa

@luvpink I honestly was talked to like I was a bag of tripe on both calls.. The f-f was horrible, she kept sniffing, blowing her nose, never looked up once, Was a whole lot of nothing.
Who in their right senses put themselves through it unnecessarily. I'd give anything to be fit and well. Anybody who thinks we have great lives will never get it. For those who believe us , no evidence is needed, for those who don't believe us no evidence will ever be enough.
