Uc making joint claim - do we both need ID?
Hi there me and my girlfriend are thinking of moving in together where both on uc but ive got id and she hasn't to make a joint claim together do we both need id because when joining both single claims close

If you both have single claims then you've already verified your identities as far as UC are concerned.

I'm not sure if you'd still need an interview, but hopefully Kimi may know. Here's some more information about changing from a single to a joint claim . Hopefully you won't need another interview as you both already claim UC and you're simply joining your accounts.

I can't see any reason you would need an interview when going from a single to joint claim.
I'm not a trained benefits advisor though, you might want to contact someone locally who is.
