PIP Rejection and MR

I applied for PIP last year and got a rejection letter a few days ago. I did not get my report even though I requested it twice. I suffer with diagnosed ADHD, depression and anxiety and am in the process of getting an autism diagnosis.

I am extremely nervous for mandatory reconsideration. I wrote a 5 page letter and added a few pieces of evidence, stuff like dental records to show my poor oral hygiene, letters saying I have depression and anxiety and also my ADHD diagnosis and path forward for medication.

I knew they were bad for reports but I didn't expect this. I feel like a phone call wasn't even needed with everything they put in my report! Things like I was able to concentrate for an hour. I was a pure mess, hyperventilating and leg bouncing. I kept stuttering, apologising and referencing my notes. I scored 0 for everything which is so frustrating.

I sent off my evidence today plus the letter and I had even sent in my diary too. I got told to start writing one so it has about a months worth of entries in there.

I know its based on how my disability effects me, I am just looking for advice on this all.

I can only wait until it comes back and this might just be an anxiety thing. If it does and I get awarded, great. If I don't, I will fight this at tribunal. My questions are -

How likely is it that with all the evidence I have newly supplied will I get awarded?

Can I get someone to speak on my behalf at a tribunal such as the CAB?

Is it even worth fighting this much?

Sorry for such a long read.

Hi @SongBird77 and a warm welcome to the community from me!

Sorry to hear about this, the pip process can be a reallly overwhelming and frustrating experience.

It's good that you have supplied extra evidence as that will strengthen your case even more.
I'm unable to say how likely it is that you will be awarded PIP as that will be done to the assessor but hopefully it will be good news.

Citizens Advice may be able speak on your behalf and there is also VoiceAbility and POhWER which are advocacy organisations who may be able to help you too😊
