Something that might help, don't save your bank details on any website. Then when you go to buy something, it takes time and effort to go and get your card to put the numbers in. That might be enough time for you to decide not to buy it. 🙂

If you can stop yourself from impulse buying it may get easier over time, to the point where you don't feel the need or desire to spend any more.

I used to get a buzz out of regularly ordering things online and waiting for the packages to arrive, puzzles, game consoles, DVDs, Blu Rays, etc, and then making unboxing videos of them for Youtube, it was kind of like an addiction. It got to the point where I had and still have tons of things, a lot of which I've not even got around to playing with or watching yet. Realising that my backlog of things was growing bigger and bigger, and that the house was becoming cluttered, I really didn't want to be bringing more things into the house and just wanted to start enjoying my huge backlog of things instead.

So, I resisted buying things online all the time, and eventually it got a lot easier, to the point where for the last couple of years if I look at cool puzzles or games consoles, etc online that I don't have, I genuinely have no desire at all to buy any, it just feels completely pointless when I've already got more than enough cool stuff as it is, a lot of which I've not even got around to playing with or watching yet.
