Topic.

I have a meeting booked with Autism Plus in Town on Friday morning at 11, with a view to them trying to help me get a paid job, I just don't think I'll ever work because in all the years I've been trying, I keep getting rejected because I can only work short hours due to the rules while on benefits, which for various reasons I can't come off.

And as mentioned before, in my chosen retail trade, evenings and weekend shifts are pretty much mandatory, and for various reasons I just can't.

Would there be a way round this? I know there's reasonable adjustments and all that bobbins but I've been saying for years that what's "reasonable" is open to interpretation at the employer's discretion, which almost never benefits the employee/potential employee.
